J.R. Jewelers invites you to celebrate Earth’s Day on April 22nd
The Earth’s Day was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970. This Day marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement all over the world and it is celebrated in many countries each year on April 22. Talking about this pro environment protest, Senator Gaylord Nelson said that he wanted to “put the environment into the political ‘limelight’ once and for all” and to rise the concern about the environmental crisis.
There are many ways that you can celebrate Earth’s Day alone and with others. It is all about involving yourself in “green” activities such as wearing eco jewelry, ridding a bike, recycle and reuse or make nature crafts. Try leaning more about the environment. Not all of us can engage in outdoor activities but we can be creative when it comes to rising the awareness and protecting the environment.
At J.R. Jewelers we sustain “no dirty gold” campaigns and we only sale conflict-free diamonds. We encourage you to wear on Earth’s Day the true beauties nature has offered us: gemstones, including diamonds and precious or semi-precious mineral stones of remarkable colors. So, let’s celebrate nature and remember on Earth’s day just how amazing and beautiful our Planet is.
